Amun-Re.JPG
a scarab (steatite 1.7 cm) with a Neb Amun-Re inscription (Amun-Re rules) note the ribbed head, a typical Ramessid shape. See parallel from Tell el Farah (South) in Israel, found in a grave together with a Ramses II scarab
Ptah-Israel.JPG
This Ramessid scarab from Israel (steatite 1.7 cm) reads Ptah Neb Maat, Ptah lord of truth. See parallel from a grave in Tell el-Farah (Israel). It was found together with a Ramses II scarab.
AmenophisIII3.JPG
This plaque (steatite 1.0 cm) depicts a simplified variation of the throne name of Amenophis III: Neb Maat Re. Note the sign for Maat only represented by a feather. The reverse depicts a protective Udjat eye. See picture with two scarabs in Petrie 1917. References: Petrie 1917, Pl. XXXIV, 83, 84.
Private.JPG
A private name scarab from Israel (steatite 1.5 cm) It reads Mer Hen (Hes ?) Ra, Neb en Djet, Overseer, Priest of Ra, Neb-en-Djet. See a similar title in Petrie 1917. Hard to give an exact date but the shape is typical New Kingdom.
